Coucou tout le monde. How was everyone's Christmas? Mine actually went well. We had what we call a "mangez-vous" with our first counselor and it was sick. I loved the food, we had fried bananas and omelets. Pretty good.  Spiritual thought: OK, I'll really keep this one short cause the last one have been long.  Today's come from Elder Holland's last talk for a memorial of him. Its called "and now I see". Hey everybody! How's life going. Christmas might actually be something all the way over here. Enjoy all the decorations for me. We're on week 18 and the new transfers are through. Let's get right into it.  Spiritual thought: today's spiritual thought comes from a question an elder had in our new apartment. Its about the Sabbath.  He said, how strict is God's law when it comes to being exalted. Like where does good draw the line on the little things. For example; is watching football on Sunday gonna stop me from getting the highest degree of glory in the celestial kingdom? Probably not, but the interesting thing is this. If you really, and I mean REALLY, want to be exalted, where is your mind going to go first of all? Of course, we're going to use Jesus as the perfect example. What did he do? What did he always do that everyone else finds impossible to do.  He turned outward, and NEVER turned inward.  Well what does that mean. Let me give you an example. Let'...

Hey guys, how was everyone's week? I hope things went well. Maybe Christmas is starting to feel like Christmas for you guys. It definitely is beginning to FEEL like Christmas, but with 85-90 degree weather. This week actually has been pretty chill though. Cloudy pretty much all week which is a real blessing for me. There title today translates to "sick house". And not in a cool way. Or whole apartment for sick and it hit one elder the hardest. So the other elders in the apartment and I gave him a blessing which was pretty cool  . It is beginning to feel like Christmas because the other elders in our zone were singing Christmas carols outside and handing out flyers. Things like that that make this place feel more... jolly. We also had an all American apartment one day because I went on splits with our zone leader.   Howdy peeps!! Hope your week went well and full of Christmas stuff. Go enjoy it for me . I don't see any of it, there's only one store that has lights and a lot of toys but it's tiny. But hey, we take what we get. Especially since we've been bringing our own Christmas spirit through song. I've sung so much Christmas carols from the hymn book, and its great. The titles story comes from when we had a zone leader in a Baka (African bus) one the way back to our area. We three Americans in the bus (out of 4) were singing Christmas carols the whole way back. It was so hype. Hey guys, sorry it's been a week and a half. I had a temple trip today which moved out pday from Monday to today. But we here, and that's all that matters. This really has been a good week. Some miracles we've seen is we've been able to fix 9 baptismal dates!!! And plan on fixing at least 2 more. It's crazy... we're in one of the harder sectors too. So this week, waters been out for at least three days I belive now (and it still hasn't turned on.
