Hey, what's up everyone!! How was everyone's week? Hit me up with an email if something interesting happened throughout the week. I'd love to hear it. Here's my week: Spiritual thought: Ok, so I want to talk about the power of gratitude.  What a great and wonderful blessing we have to be able to be here and to learn and grow and to BE HAPPY we all have the opportunity to be happy, we just need to have the right situations, and then we'll be happy... right? No, not right. We can be happy in Any situation we are given. We have the truth, the hope, and the light of knowledge of our eternal destiny. When putting that in view, god will  "Ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs" -Moroni 24:14 With divine help, we can always have access to godly love, and joy. What is godly love and joy. I think its gratitude. We can be grateful for any situation in our lives no matter the situation  No matter the situati...

Wow, so I didn't know that missionaries could go to Zimbabwe, but now things are changing. It's gonna be so cool!  But no, seriously they're just a neighborhood in our area called Zimbabwe. It is pretty cool, got some cool stands for food. We head out there every week now. Lots of fun adventures. Spiritual thought: I want to talk about the devotional that President Oaks gave. I think every missionary will, but I'm still gonna do it.  There are a few key things that stood out to me. First was the warning that we must be in tune with the Holy Ghost to know what is true. People WILL be deceived in coming days, we know that technology is growing rapidly. By the time I get home from my mission, we may be able to generate full movies. Maybe not good ones, but still. The other thing that stood out to me was to put ourselves with good people or friends. These will be beneficial on the later days. I'm so grateful for my friends and family who buoy me up so well. Coucou tout le monde!  How was everyone's week? Send me an update if you feel like it, it'd be much appreciated.  Spiritual thought:  Today I've been feeling like talking about the testimony. The power of a testimony is really something that brings joy into people's lives. It prepares us for hard moments, and let's us feel and access God's love and forgiveness. We see that in the parabol of the ten virgins, that half... HALF, of the virgins were not prepared to meet their bridegroom. Their lanterns ran out of oil, and none else was prepared for them after that. When the left to find some, the time was too late. We CANNOT delay in keeping our lanterns lit. It is soo necessary I'm these last of the last days. President Nelson taught us that. "In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost" -President Nelson  We can say that the holy ghost is our oil. ...

What once was open space, became the tightest ever.  What used to be a small town, is now a dense city.  I started in one corner, now rest in the opposite. A companion as old a time, to one now younger than me.  Friends that were all too familiar, now barely crack a smile. Life goes on, and so the voyage continues It's kind of crazy how things can just change so fast. From a steady rhythm, to uncertainty and worry, in just a matter of days.  If you couldn't tell, I've been transferred to a new area. Its called Vridi Canal and its a beach area! Pretty cool. Our apartment is a house almost by the oceanside. I came from the village to straight city. And now I'm training...  Yup, its been full of ups and downs but we're moving along. All I know is that the gift of tongues is so real. I feel like French has never been clearer. So that's some blessings I've been seeing. Life has moved on, like it always does.
