Hey sorry, its late and I didnt get a lot of time for p-day stuff today. It will be quick. Spiritual thought:  Comes from Moroni 5:23-24 "Know ye not that ye are in the hands of God? Know ye not that he hath all power, and at his great command the earth shall be rolled together as a scroll? 24 Therefore, repent ye, and humble yourselves before him, lest he shall come out in justice against you" I how that we can put our trust in God. I know that he is there in the smallest moments. I love Elder Kearons quote.  "God is in RELENTLESS pursuit of you." He will not leave us, he will not forsake us. I testify of this on the name of Jesus christ amen. Go be the answer to someone later this week. Lift a burden, help a friend and I know your life will be more fulfilling and satisfying. Other random events this week. - ran from hornets for about 30 seconds.   No missionary was stung, (miracle from God) but not everyone was so lucky.  - currently in our headquarters to go ...

Hey guys, we're here with a new week. I've got some news! But first... Spiritual thought. Today's spiritual thought will be about obedience. I've had a lot of time to reflect a lot about obedience. Primarily. OBEDIENCE BRINGS BLESSINGS. Often, we see rules as a way of holding us down. We can really feel limited when we're told we can't do the things that the natural man might want to do. We want to fit in, its true. But that is not where happiness lies A quick analogy helps us see why we can't be happy and choose to live the life that other people follow.  It starts off with a boy. President Hinckley to be exact. He's flying a kit with his dad asmbd asks him, "Dad, without this string, the kite could go so much higher. It's just holding it down." Then his dad replied, "Oh, you think so? Let go of the string and see." Hinckley then let's go of the string and strangely finds that his kite falls.  The string the held the kite d...

We're back again with another one! Life's been moving along. Some things happened this week that I'll get into later. But... thought lautirips... Today, I feel like sharing a story that I found in a nice little book my parents sent me. Took 3 months, but I got it. It shares  "In our friendly neighbor city of St. Augustine, great flocks of seagulls are starving among plenty. Fishing is good, but the gulls don't know how to fish. For generations they have depended on the shrimp fleet to toss them scraps from their nets. And now the fleet has moved The shrimpers over the years had created a "welfare state" for the seagulls. The birds never bothered to learn how to fish for themselves, and they never taught they're children to fish. Instead, they led their little ones to the shrimp boats for their food. Now the seagulls, the fine free birds that almost symbolize liberty itself, are starving to death because they gave into the 'something-for-nothing...

I want to share some thoughts I've come across this week.  It started when I was shared this verse, and now has been deeply connected to my testimony. Its mosiah 2:41 and it reads "And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are bles...
