Carter's Mission

  Coucou tous le monde Firstly, it is true that a goat kicked me. But it wasn't hard at all, so here's the story. We headed to aboisso for zone conference (my sector is in Ayamé), and my district of 4 people tok some van taxi looking thing. It holds about 12 people, and we crammed 13 ADULTS into it. The 4 elders and I took the back bench and it was tight. They load up all the luggage of some passengers and we start driving. The roads in Ayamé are very awful, think dirt roads up in the canyon. For my family,  and friends who know, it's like our cabin roads. Anyway, we stop and start all the time getting through bumpy spots or ditches.  During one of the spots, as soon as we went through the ditch, something brushed the back of my calf. Then over a bump, and it kicked me... So when they were loading luggage on the bus, some things they loaded were some goats. Like live goats... In the trunk... and everytime we stopped and started, they slid further and further underneath th...

 

 

Salut tout le monde!!! We are officially in the final week of my stay here at the MTC. WOOO!!🎉🎉🎉 This week has been pretty chill with nothing too out of the ordinary.  Weekly Update: Friday; My district went and did baptisms for the dead, and initiatories. Because our temple trip was in the afternoon, we didn't have time to do many other things. But we had class soon after, and finished the day Saturday; We had our first two classes in the morning so when we finished at 4:30 we had a lot of time to spare. I think we went to the rec room for a second, then we went to the field. We tried to sneak in another hour, because we weren't there for the full hour, but they kicked most students out. I got to play some spikeball with my old district Sunday; We started off with Priests Quorum and that was good, but the sacrament meeting was amazing. Salut tous le monde! Ça dit quoi? Yoooo!! Week 4 starting strong 💪 We've had a lot of fun with the French elders, I'll call them frenchies. But they've been a blast. It's fray how focused and unfocused they can be. They've take l taught us a lot of their slang and us thaem. I'll list some of the phrases we've been saying:  Ça dit quoi Hit the possum Piccore Le gateau BANG Foculisez-vous Fermer ton coeur! You can put those into Google translate if you want, but the first one probably won't make sense, or the piccore one. so I'll just explain them.  - Ça dit quoi is just slang for what's up?  - Piccore is some strange thing they do where people will stick one of their knees out in front of somebody and if that person moves, then the first person sticking their knee out asks for a piccore. Which means peck, and the person who moves takes their hand and makes a pecking motion on the other person's hand. I know it's weird, but pretty funny.  ...
