Coucou tout le monde! How was everyone's week? Mine was just splendid. And full of amazing wildlife here in Africa. But not in a good way.  We got a rat in the guitar, ants in the walls, and cockroaches in the drains and a toilet that leaks urine...  To start off, we had a mouse that thought he could live with 4 teenage boys. First off, bad idea. Second off, he thought he could get away. Here's a quick run-down of the week Here's the story.  Story time: one morning as me and my companion were planning for the next week. The other two elders in our apartment found out that a rat had gotten in their guitar and was still in there. So like ratatouille, he had hours own John Denver guiding him around until he ended up in the guitar.  They thought it was hilarious and because it couldn't get out, they brought the guitar over to show us. Spiritual thought: for this spiritual thought, I want this to start being the first thing to talk about. Because although it can be fun to talk about my life here in Africa, it's these messages that make me and an email every week.  We going to study a chapter in the Preach My Gospel book because... it's just so fire    This comes from the second chapter in the Preach My Gospel, and its called search the holy scriptures AND PUT ON THE ARMOR OF GOD. If you couldn't tell, I think that second part is so important.   Bienvenue tout le monde, how's everyone doing? First off, Woooooh!!! One transfer down!! Now I've got... 15 more... but that's alright because I'm starting to love it here. The people here are so funny; kids, parents, kids, and then the kids. Love them all. Some highlights of the week; - the whole week was a spiritual giant, we had so many lessons that brought the spirit really strongly. At least for me.  - transfers started, and I'm still in Ayamé with my trainer. We're doing great -  Lowlights; - It's sad to see how people here feel wr I need by their own churches, money-wise. As the pastors here live their best lives with cars, nice houses, and cable TV. While everyone else is trying to earn their money through work. - Speaking of money, that's just what everyone wants. EVERYONE. We've ran into people who are just childish because of it. There's a mama we teach, and she handed us her Book of Mormon back because we joked with her that we didn...

Bonjour tout le monde! How's my favorite people doing? This week was great and I how your's was too.   First of all, the title is a mix of ballon and Halloween. Ballon is what they call the mini soccer fields here, almost like Futsal, and Halloween was over this last week. It was a lot of soccer, I'm not going to lie, I've got the worst hotness since ive got here. But its not too bad so we're chilling  . To be honest I totally forgot about Halloween until this massive storm rolled through (photos to come). Highlights There were some baptisms in the area and we were able to bring a couple of friends to watch. Then some others came to church after a TON of inviting. The kids love magic here, my companion says I could start making money off of it because everywhere I go, I get swarmed by kids that want to see it.  Foods been better than ever, ive started eating local food a lot more, mainly Garba, and its addictive.
