Bonjour tout le monde! How's my favorite people doing? This week was great and I how your's was too.  

First of all, the title is a mix of ballon and Halloween. Ballon is what they call the mini soccer fields here, almost like Futsal, and Halloween was over this last week. It was a lot of soccer, I'm not going to lie, I've got the worst hotness since ive got here. But its not too bad so we're chilling ðŸ˜Ž. To be honest I totally forgot about Halloween until this massive storm rolled through (photos to come).

Highlights
There were some baptisms in the area and we were able to bring a couple of friends to watch. Then some others came to church after a TON of inviting.
The kids love magic here, my companion says I could start making money off of it because everywhere I go, I get swarmed by kids that want to see it. 
Foods been better than ever, ive started eating local food a lot more, mainly Garba, and its addictive.
We had out most busy week which was amazing (beats being bored😉)

Again, not a whole lot of low-lights. Crazy how much a good attitude has helped me out here.

Spiritual thought: OK, I know ive finished with the christlike attributes but... here's my testimony and we'll move on.

I know that as we seek these christ-like attributes that'd I've talked about and more, we WILL see an increase in gratitude, joy, peace, annnd, a nice and easy life. 

Just kidding about the last one, its actually the opposite, but with these christ-like attributes, the hard moments become bearable and make less of an impact on your life. One thing that is have really seen here is how your mentality changes your reality. If you're grumpy, you're going to look for grumpy things, thus making you even more grumpy, but also more miserable. If you look for joy, or things to be grateful for, you see more of the blessings and thus, have more joy. 

There's an exercise I've been working on and I'm going to do it throughout my mission and more. I invite you to do the same. Each transfer, (6-9 weeks) I pick one of these 10 attributes, and solely focus on developing that attribute. Here are the 10;

-Faith
-Hope
-Charity and Love
-Virtue
-Integrity
-Knowledge 
-Patience
-Humility
-Diligence
-Obedience

Developing, and more importantly GROWING each attribute brings forth good fruits. Therefore as the apostle Matthew states "Wherefore by their fruits, ye shall know them" (Matthew 7:20)

Before I share the story, i want to formally apologize about last weeks email. This is going to make some people mad but, Im sure half of you didn't scroll down far enough.  Go look again, yeah you OK, so, I've found it, the true deep dark woods. It's here in Ayamé and it is looking pretty scary. Me and my comp had some friends pretty far out there to teach a lesson to and when we got there, they weren't home.   so I decided I wanted to take the time we would have been teaching to walk through this forest. A lot of the threes here are not naturally grown. I mean, me and .y comp are far enough out there that we see some wild trees. But most trees you see here are orchards grown by the people here. Salut tous le monde!!  It is a good day! P-day is always a good day. This week has been pretty wild. I've been getting some exercise in when I can; like last p-day, me and my district went and played basketball, then Saturday we went to the soccer fields and played some soccer. For some reason we had 4 hours to spare on Tuesday and went to the gym to play some basketball again. It's kind of hard to fit in some time to go everyday, but even just going some of the days is keeping my sanity. The schedule is growing on me, I've been here a week to know that this is going to be the next two years of my life. I'm headed to the temple right now and am going to do some endowments in the Mt. Timp temple for the first time.  Yesterday was SUPPOSED to be the start of our immersion class. Where the classes become only taught in french, but the teacher teaching us didn't know French. Coucou tout le monde! How was everyone's week? Mine was just splendid. And full of amazing wildlife here in Africa. But not in a good way.  We got a rat in the guitar, ants in the walls, and cockroaches in the drains and a toilet that leaks urine...  To start off, we had a mouse that thought he could live with 4 teenage boys. First off, bad idea. Second off, he thought he could get away. Here's a quick run-down of the week Here's the story.  Story time: one morning as me and my companion were planning for the next week. The other two elders in our apartment found out that a rat had gotten in their guitar and was still in there. So like ratatouille, he had hours own John Denver guiding him around until he ended up in the guitar.  They thought it was hilarious and because it couldn't get out, they brought the guitar over to show us.
