Howdy y'all. I hope you all had a great week.  Today I get to write to you from a computer. WOW I know, it's very chic. You already know the drill Spiritual thought: Who is that man? I have been thinking a lot about the story of Job in the bible. I hear many stories about how it is possible that these bible characters are just stories but whether they are or not, I still find them interesting. Like I have talked about before, the story of Joseph in Egypt is my favorite one from the bible. But the story of Job is currently placing second.  The first chapter is pretty wild. It gives an interaction between God and Satan. In almost an interesting way, God boasts about his faithful son Job who says "that there is none like him in the earth". Satan is trying to convince God that Job only worships him because life is easy for him.  "Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his h...

Hey guys, I hope you all spent the week doing something you love. If it was anything more interesting than sitting in front of a computer, then send me an update explaining what happened. We'll get right on with our Spiritual thought: daily restoration I was listening to I need thee every hour and felt inspired to talk a little about jt I have this really cool variation of the hymn on my it that can be found on gospel library and it made me really reflect on our innate dependence on Jesus. Well, with the context of the phrase it would be silly to go walking through a dense forest without any navigation. If told to walk in a straight line, we would most definitely not accomplish the simple task.  I remember a small analogy given by Elder Uchtdorf that highlights this same principle. People were dropped off in a dense forest snd asked...

Hey guys we're back with another week through. Hope you're getting used to the Saturday emails cause I'm not, but the day will come. let's start with the  spiritual thought: Learn wisdom.  S o my spiritual thought comes from Mosiah 2:17 and it says  "Behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that you may LEARN WISDOM; that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of you God." I hope that this verse is pretty familiar to you in the way that you have seen the blessings that come from service. I know that many of you are missionaries and are doing the lord's work and it's really impressive. I want to talk about the wisdom part of this phrase. Why are these wise words? Well, for a few reasons. There's a video that I watched that changed my view on the mission. It's called LIFT, if you have time go watch it. In it, there is a man that talks about the " dichotomy between healing the body and hea...
