Hey guys, we got news! It's pretty exciting and I know none of y'all are expecting this today but it's now my p-day for the next 9+ months. I'll explain why after the  Spiritual thought: Begotten What does begotten even mean? We see this word very often but do we really understand what it means? Looking in gospel library, we see that begotten means to be born and is often used by "all people [who are] spiritually begotten of Christ by accepting Him". Then to become a new person through the whisperings of the holy ghost Alma went through this conversion and says that every creature must be born again and changed from their carnal state to a state tied with Jesus Christ. He is the example. What attributes do we lack that Christ used so perfectly. Maybe it's patience. Jesus Christ was patient with everyone and not only those who were easy to be patient with. To be "born again" is to start again. It is our restart. I don't know how many people ...

Hey guys we're back with week 53 I believe. Last week was a fun week and I'll get into it just after the  Spiritual thought: Joseph in Egypt The story of Joseph is my favorite story in the entire old testament. Did he murmur? No. Did he pray? I'm sure he did.  While being able to interpret dreams for a butler is obviously a small thing as we see the butler quickly forgot about Joseph when he leaves prison, Joseph does get brought up when the subjec...

Yup, we got another Spiritual thought: What matters most Sorry to jump on ya like that. For today, I'm pulling most of my thought from this talk by Elder Uchtdorf.  Of Things That Matter Most https://www. churchofjesuschrist.org/study/ general-conference/2010/10/of- things-that-matter-most?lang= eng I really loved this talk and invite everyone to go read it. But, I'll just share my thoughts in it.  I feel that as missionaries, we can oftentimes forget what the priorities are in our missions. For me, I've definitely gotten lost looking for friends so we could accomplish our goal for the week instead of looking for friends because there's people who are looking for it. Or visited some friends for the intent to bring them to church and not just to serve. It's pretty freaking hard to remember often, all people need is just something small.  In fact, I learned it was kinda selfish of me to go into a lesson expecting an outcome and if it didn't happen, I must not have...
