 Coucou tout le monde! How was everyone's week? Mine went splendid thanks for asking.

 Take a l👀k after the spiritual thought, I hope you read it.

Spiritual thought: for this spiritual thought, I want this to start being the first thing to talk about. Because although it can be fun to talk about my life here in Africa, it's these messages that make me and an email every week. 

We going to study a chapter in the Preach My Gospel book because... it's just so fire ðŸ”¥ 

This comes from the second chapter in the Preach My Gospel, and its called search the holy scriptures AND PUT ON THE ARMOR OF GOD. If you couldn't tell, I think that second part is so important. But because all things point to christ (yes, everything), we're going to be tying that in later. 

The first paragraph gives us some pretty epic blessings: 
-His words (the scriptures) will fill us with light and truth
- They week help you live righteously and receive divine protection and strength
- Help youcome to know Him (God) and taste of his love
- His words will fill your soul with joy

Each other point will be talked about in the next weeks

1. Fill us with light and truth. 
     What does that even mean? Well, at least the truth part makes sense? But what about light? Light is usually corresponded a lot with knowledge like the lifting of a light bulb brings an idea. So God, through his scriptures give us knowledge (*cough *cough christ-like attribute). Not only just knowledge, but truth. I have been reflecting on truth lately. We've had some inclines where people look for truth in the wrong places. 

Namely social media. 

Social media is the biggest way to spread hate and misinformation to multiple people. But it can also be one of the biggest ways to spread joy and knowledge. There is a difference between being right and being true. Being true is lifting others even when there is injustice involved. Did Jesus christ stand up for himself because he knew he was right? Not even a little bit. 

I hope that as we stay away from the loud usually harmful voices online, we will find peace and true truth. Which comes only from the scriptures and ultimately protects us. That is why it is the armor of God. So should we just stand by and let these injustices go? If they don't keep you in danger, yes... Jesus was the perfect example of that. And it even led him to a painful death. So I invite you to take one step back from the digital life and to start reading the book of Mormon. I promise it will give you more peace than social media ever will... I say these things in the name of Jesus christ amen.

Highlights of the week:
- I was able to baptize 4 kids today who are absolutely amazing and going to do great things in the gospel. 
- we met a bunch of wonderful new people, and especially at church.  It was the most full of I've ever seen it. 
- I bought some pretty sick local clothes (hence the title name). For those who don't know, do is another way to say trendy or fashionable. I am most definitely not fashionable in the US, but the clothes are amazing.

If it's possible, I would ask you to pray for the anoh (anne-oh) family's parents. Thanks,  I believe that the power of prayer can help their parents get baptized.

Before I share the story, i want to formally apologize about last weeks email. This is going to make some people mad but, Im sure half of you didn't scroll down far enough.  Go look again, yeah you OK, so, I've found it, the true deep dark woods. It's here in Ayamé and it is looking pretty scary. Me and my comp had some friends pretty far out there to teach a lesson to and when we got there, they weren't home.   so I decided I wanted to take the time we would have been teaching to walk through this forest. A lot of the threes here are not naturally grown. I mean, me and .y comp are far enough out there that we see some wild trees. But most trees you see here are orchards grown by the people here. Salut tous le monde!!  It is a good day! P-day is always a good day. This week has been pretty wild. I've been getting some exercise in when I can; like last p-day, me and my district went and played basketball, then Saturday we went to the soccer fields and played some soccer. For some reason we had 4 hours to spare on Tuesday and went to the gym to play some basketball again. It's kind of hard to fit in some time to go everyday, but even just going some of the days is keeping my sanity. The schedule is growing on me, I've been here a week to know that this is going to be the next two years of my life. I'm headed to the temple right now and am going to do some endowments in the Mt. Timp temple for the first time.  Yesterday was SUPPOSED to be the start of our immersion class. Where the classes become only taught in french, but the teacher teaching us didn't know French. Coucou tout le monde! How was everyone's week? Mine was just splendid. And full of amazing wildlife here in Africa. But not in a good way.  We got a rat in the guitar, ants in the walls, and cockroaches in the drains and a toilet that leaks urine...  To start off, we had a mouse that thought he could live with 4 teenage boys. First off, bad idea. Second off, he thought he could get away. Here's a quick run-down of the week Here's the story.  Story time: one morning as me and my companion were planning for the next week. The other two elders in our apartment found out that a rat had gotten in their guitar and was still in there. So like ratatouille, he had hours own John Denver guiding him around until he ended up in the guitar.  They thought it was hilarious and because it couldn't get out, they brought the guitar over to show us.
