Hey guys, we're here with a new week. I've got some news! But first...

Spiritual thought.

Today's spiritual thought will be about obedience. I've had a lot of time to reflect a lot about obedience.

Primarily. OBEDIENCE BRINGS BLESSINGS. Often, we see rules as a way of holding us down. We can really feel limited when we're told we can't do the things that the natural man might want to do. We want to fit in, its true. But that is not where happiness lies

A quick analogy helps us see why we can't be happy and choose to live the life that other people follow.

It starts off with a boy. President Hinckley to be exact. He's flying a kit with his dad asmbd asks him,

"Dad, without this string, the kite could go so much higher. It's just holding it down."

Then his dad replied,

"Oh, you think so? Let go of the string and see."

Hinckley then let's go of the string and strangely finds that his kite falls.

The string the held the kite down was actually keeping it up. What similarities can we see in our lives?

We each have a role to play in our lives. If we choose to fill these roles, we find that our joy is increased. Success comes only from God and through merits of obedience. God loves us so he keeps is tethered. In the hymn 1001 (come thou fount of every blessing) it explains

Let Thy goodness, like a fetter,

Bind my wand’ring heart to Thee.

Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,

Prone to leave the God I love.

A fetter is what people tie to a horse to keep it from wandering away. In this scenario, we see the author asking the goodness of God to tie us to him. We are all prone to wander, and often we feel lost. But through God's goodness, he has given us commandments; a guardrail to keep us from falling off the edge. Thanks to this, we can be secure in his arms. I know that this history brings joy,  ive seen it change the countenance of do many people here.

I testify that this is the lord church here on earth. Be a light to someone else, reflect the love of Jesus christ this Easter season. The first presidency invite is to invite someone not of our faith to church. I want to support this invitation. IT IS POSSIBLE TO BUILD UP ZION. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

Ok, BIG NEWS!

So, I found this out last Sunday (the 8th of march) that I would be called to serve as the new zone leader for 4 Γ©tages. So I've spent a good 3 days as a zone leader so far. So crazy. God truly is pushing me father then I thought I could go. I totally thought that I would stay in Vridi, but God has other plans.

But because I was called so fast as a zone leader, it is likely that I will get office hours after the mission splits. So that'll be fun! YippeeπŸ₯²πŸ€€
