Hey everyone, we got transferred news, so stick around for the end!

Spiritual thought: 2 nephi 25:26

I'm sure you guys all know this one. If not off the top of your head then after I give the citation

"And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins."

Yup, that one

I've really found an eye opening experience being out in the driest areas of this side of the city. (It's really not, but let's pretend it is), and I've always had the fear of imposing on others while talking to them. I've seen this in the way I talk with my companion, and the way I talk to new friends we Meat in their homes or on the streets.

But why is it that we preach the gospel in tbe first place? Is it to impose our ideas or philosophy on others and let them know that if they dont follow they cane never be happy? No, never. Or at least thats not how it should be done.

Or rather, do we come here, or wherever you are, to show our experience and end goal. Perfection is a process... so why aren't people all depressed because we know we're not perfect now? Because of three things. Patience, hope, and obedience. The longer I've been out here, the longer I've found how everyone christ-like attribute of Christ is connected with ech other. They all lift one another (and us) to a higher state of living. But why doesn't that bring hopelessness.

Because we are told that we can be happy in inperfection. Not in continually choosing wrong, but that in no matter what we do. There is a possibility for change. God's love never takes that away for us. It is only us that separates ourselves from God. In our lessons, we invotr people to better attach themselves to Jesus Christ. Why? Because only he was worthy to recieve the exaltation that came from obedience. In turn? We are asked to follow him. Know him. And understand his character.

I knit that as we better know jesus christ and his actions. His true will for us. We will lose a desire to satisfy ourselves. His doctrine is what leads to joy. It is not limited. It is the formula to finding joy in our life, not the pathway to get there. The lifestyles are what open the flood gates so joy can pour in our soul.

I love you guys and invite you to better know jesus and his commandments for each one of you. Then pray to recieve the light that god cannot withhold from the earnest seaker. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
