Hey guys!!

First week of home MTC is almost in the bag. It’s been a long week but it’s also been a really cool one. I’ve run into a lot of problems this week with companions and stuff. Things where my companion was in a different district, but I’m sure it will all work out. I’m so excited to get started in the Provo MTC. The plan is, I’ll be doing 3 weeks in standard French classes, then finish with 3 weeks in advanced French classes. There’s only one other elder going to be in that class so it will be a Par-tay. It’s been great getting to know my district.

Spiritual thought:

Alma 5: 13-14, and if says

”a mighty change was also wrought in their hearts, and they humbled themselves and put their trust in the true and living God. And behold, they were faithful until the end; therefore they were saved.

14 And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?”

we’ve been talking about conversion a couple of times over zoom. Sometimes the conversion of investigators, but a lot of times about the conversion of us. Jesus Christ's disciples each have their own unique conversion story. Matthew trusting Jesus can his life a better one. Simon with his amazing story with the fish. I think it was little James who Jesus said was stronger than his illness.

So I just want to ask each of you. What is your conversion story? What makes you consistently follow gods commandments. Is it routine? Is it because you love god? I think that each conversion story is unique and is tailored to everyone’s personality. I know that my conversion to the lord is growing as I work, pray, and study every day. My conversion to the lord is more than a one time event, it needs work, and refinement.

Love you guys, and thanks for all the support. I’ll hopefully have more to say when I’m actually at the MTC. See you next week!

P.S. email me… i don’t really have a lot going on until next Wednesday and would love to hear what’s going with everyone else.
