 Bonjour tout le monde! On dit quoi?  Elder Hill checking in for another week!

The title of this week's email is the title of a book I've been reading. "The miracle of forgiveness" is written by Spencer W. Kimball and it's really good. It rips into sins and intents and then the miracle that is forgiveness.

The way he talks about sinning is a way that I've never looked at it like. Before, it's always been pretty lenient and more hopeful because after all, we aren't perfect. But it talks about that if we aren't intentionally trying to
 either repent, or improve ourselves daily, we're sinning. Now the depth of whichever sin varies and that's the subject of the book. But I want to share a quick reminder. Remember the joy that comes from living His standards intentionally. If needed, truly repent and work your way back to that joy, or peace, or happiness, or surety that can only be found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. This isn't the spiritual thought, but that doesn't mean it doesn't matter. Repentance is of great importance and has your eternal salvation on the line.

Some highlights this week include;

-A lot of rain, it's so fun. About every night it begins to be cloudy and the weather cools down to a perfect temperature. By the time we get back, it begins to rain.

-A lot of reading, both scriptures and that book by president Kimball. At the times where we came back kind of early, I've had the opportunity to read the Miracle of Forgiveness and it's been really great. If you can read it, I would recommend you do

-More productive week with better use of my time. We've had more people tell us that they actually do have time to hear our message, and more people who used to hear came back as well

We still can do better, but I love the progress we've made some far, and were far from perfect. But my hope is that our diligence can change this village of Ayamé.

That's all!! Thanks for reading! Have a good one, see you next week

Just kidding, I'm forgetting the most important part,

Spiritual thought:
This week, I've been looking at the christ-like virtue of ObedienceI think last week or two weeks ago I talked about Diligence

What's the difference?

Diligence is the amount you give after your Obedience. Obedience comes first. And, more Diligence is better than less Diligence. There's a parable given by jesus of a land owner. He has two sons and he turns to one and says "will you go work in the fields today?" And the son tells him "no" but then quickly repents and works in the field.

The father then turns to the other son and asks him the same question, this son replies "of course I will go" but does not go to the field to work.

Im the end, who will the father be pleased with. Yeah, the one that obeyed with his actions, not words. He rebelled, but in the end chose to obey his father's commandments. Which son are we? Do we tell god, "I will go and do" and not fulfill, or do we weigh it out in our minds, then go and do like the first son.

I hope we all can be obedient and in the end, go and do tge things our loving heavenly father has asked us to do

K that's it for the week, hope you enjoyed yours and if not, I hope you enjoy this coming week. Love you guys!
