This week was such a busy week I can't believe that it is already Saturday again (or whenever you get this email)

Let's get through with the

Spiritual thought: Set your Heart
I had some great lessons about some of the chapters in Ezekiel and I wanted to share some with you.

- Ezekiel 40:4 - "set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee".  

The scripture I shared could be read slightly differently for many examples in our lives. Set your hearts upon a dream God put in your heart. Set your heart on the restoration. Of building up your life and the kingdom of God. 


- "We live in a 'don't get your hopes up' world, but we don't have a 'don't get your hopes up' God." - (Don't miss this)

I really like this quote because I would say that I can have this attitude quite often. That if my hopes are up, I am more likely to be disappointed but God's work is beautiful, and I need to trust him more. 


- "Christianity is not about you making it to heaven, it's about heaven making it to you" - (Don't miss this)

This quote really suits out to me. We may think that Christianity is for the long term, but it actively helps people in their personal progression much faster than anyone can do on their own.

- when you have a heart (desire) you wish was different, God does not wait until you're in a better situation. He's waiting on your willingness to change. 

God said he would take the heathen out that's is winning your heart. Would you let him?


- Can dry bones live again? Can I see life, joy, or happiness, after my sins, circumstances, or past? Just how Ezekiel was able to bring flesh and sinew and breath of life into the dry bones, I know that the same is possible for you with a willing heart and a desire to let him change you. Set your heart upon the glory of God and his power will bring changes you never knew were possible. I know this is true, and testify of it in the name of Jesus Christ. 


Weeklies

- BYU last against Florida. Dang it, we were so close #7-0 🫠🥲💔

- We had 2 fire zone conferences and 1 fire MLC. I was present for about less than half of each reunion. 💠🎍

- Our freezers ice build-up got to me and I was feeling like one of those opening scene characters in frozen. I may have lost a knofe to the ice. 🎵split the ice apart. 🥶🩵💦

Coucou tout le monde! How was everyone's week? Mine was just splendid. And full of amazing wildlife here in Africa. But not in a good way.  We got a rat in the guitar, ants in the walls, and cockroaches in the drains and a toilet that leaks urine...  To start off, we had a mouse that thought he could live with 4 teenage boys. Before I share the story, i want to formally apologize about last weeks email. This is going to make some people mad but, Im sure half of you didn't scroll down far enough.  Go look again, yeah you OK, so, I've found it, the true deep dark woods. It's here in Ayamé and it is looking pretty scary. Me and my comp had some friends pretty far out there to teach a lesson to and when we got there, they weren't home.   so I decided I wanted to take the time we would have been teaching to walk through this forest. A lot of the threes here are not naturally grown. I mean, me and .y comp are far enough out there that we see some wild trees. But most trees you see here are orchards grown by the people here. But on this trip through the deep dark orchards I guess, we found that there is a house at the back of it.  Me and my companion dared not even get close. Neither of us had the guts to check it out. Salut tous le monde!!  It is a good day! P-day is always a good day. This week has been pretty wild. I've been getting some exercise in when I can; like last p-day, me and my district went and played basketball, then Saturday we went to the soccer fields and played some soccer. For some reason we had 4 hours to spare on Tuesday and went to the gym to play some basketball again. It's kind of hard to fit in some time to go everyday, but even just going some of the days is keeping my sanity. The schedule is growing on me, I've been here a week to know that this is going to be the next two years of my life. I'm headed to the temple right now and am going to do some endowments in the Mt. Timp temple for the first time.  Yesterday was SUPPOSED to be the start of our immersion class. Where the classes become only taught in french, but the teacher teaching us didn't know French.
